Visit us at MOUNT AVOCA

Opening Hours

Open 10am to 5pm every day of the year except Christmas, Boxing Day & New Years Day.

Cheese platters are available daily, and for those who really plan ahead, gourmet picnic hampers can be ordered three days in advance. Call the winery now on (03) 5465 3282.

For those fine Spring days why not enjoy a barbeque or try your hand at Pétanque? We have an electric barbeque and our piste has received its spring touch up - boules are available at the cellar door if you do not have your own.

The open fire will be going every weekend until the Spring, so feel free to drop in and warm up.

How to Get Here

FROM MELBOURNE:

From Melbourne take the Western Highway (direction Ballarat, Adelaide- generally the ring road or Westgate bridge provides the best access).  From the CBD, make your way to the Westgate Bridge and take the Ring Road exit (4th exit after crossing the bridge).

Follow the signs to the Western Highway. Stay on the freeway until you see the exit for Avoca and Mildura (this is after several Ballarat exits).

Avoca is about 65kms (40-45 mins from the exit).  Once you get to Avoca, proceed halfway through the township until you see the signs to Mount Avoca.  We are about 8kms out of Avoca.

FROM THE AIRPORT:

When leaving Tullamarine airport, head towards Melbourne.  The 2nd exit is the Western Ring Road.  There are two exits close together, the first goes to the east and the Hume Highway, the second goes west to the Western Highway and Ballarat / Geelong (M1) - take this one.  Proceed along the Western Ring road for about 5 minutes till you see the Western Highway / Deer Park / Ballarat exit.

Take this, then turn right and you will be on the Western Highway which goes to Ballarat.  Stay on the freeway until you see the exit for Avoca and Mildura (this is after several Ballarat exits).
Avoca is about 65kms (40-45 mins from the exit).

Once you get to Avoca, proceed halfway through the township until you see the signs to Mount Avoca and Blue Pyrenees Estate.  We are approximately 8kms out of Avoca.
