Mount Avoca is a long established winery in the Victorian Pyrenees. Established in 1970 and owned by Matthew and Lisa Barry, Mount Avoca has a well earned reputation for consistently producing some of the finest wines in the country.
Our wines are available directly from the winery 7 days a week, through mail, e-mail, fax and telephone orders.
The 24 Ha (60 acres) vineyard produces from 150 to 220 tonnes of grapes in most years or 12,000 to 16,000 dozen bottles per annum. Six main wines are produced: Shiraz, Cabernet, Merlot in the reds and Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and a Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc blend in the whites.
